Blaagh.

The grubs wanted to be the first to say something on the new blog. There, it’s in the title.

Grubs say “Blaagh”.

“Blaagh” is a word from the Grubs’ native tongue.

It has no direct translation – it’s a sort of catch-all commentary. Often heard in a cheery tone (such as in response to hugs), but sometimes heard in a plaintive tone (such as in protest of being sat upon). Grubs say “Blaagh” to say hello, good morning, good evening, and good night.

Bettas say “Meh!”

“Meh!” is a sing-songy playful word, used mostly as a greeting among betta-kind. Bettas are fond of singing and schooling.
